This wall mount is designed to support a video source component such as a cable box,  satellite receiver or audio amplifier when attached to the wall below a wall mounted display.  You could also use it for a large powered speaker bar etc...

The wall bracket is stamped steel.  The component support ring (shelf) is heavy steel. 

There are four adjustable plastic/rubber feet that allow support of various size components.

The box is a bit dingy but the contents are new and complete including instructions, mounting hardware etc...

The VH-003 is no longer offered but the company VMP - Video Mount Products - is still in business and is located in Stevensville, Maryland.
