Up for sale is one (1) Royal Staffordshire whiteware plate.  The 10" plates is a transfer-printed souvenir plate depicting Virginia Building Jamestown Expedition, 1907.  The plate is dark blue in color and is surrounded by oblong cartouches of Westover on James River, Lower Brandon on James River, Shirley on James River, Nelson House Yorktown with Cornwallis Surrendered and The Monticello Home of Thomas Jefferson.  The plate was manufactured in Burselum, England. Thee plate is also stamped Nusbaum Book & Art Co, 100 & 102 Granby St, Norfolk Virginia. Despite its age, the plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or scratches.  The back of the plate does have blue paint spots and light crazing from production.  The plate is highly collectible and rare.
