Darling hand made trinket box from the mid century (the porcelain could perhaps be older). The bottom consists of silver-plate embossed with lovely stamped design. The top features a shard of Chinese porcelain, hand painted in a blue and white floral koi fish motif.

The box has a cloverleaf/floral shape, suggestive of it's handmade quality.

The top lifts off and can be used to store small jewelry, rings, earrings, etc. Could be a pill box. It would also make a lovely gift presentation box or keepsake.
