PHOTOGRAPH - I photographed this car Summer 2022 at a Classic Car Show in Storrington, Sussex.
The Saab 96 was a 2 door saloon that was manufactured from 1960 to 1980 with front wheel drive. It was originally produced with three cylinder two stroke engine and achieved rally success with Erik Carlsson and Stig Blomqvist. In 1967 the engine was replaced with a V4 1498cc four cylinder engine that was then in turn replaced by a V4 1698cc engine in 1971.
