Davenport 2682 (MULE type with obverse die from Dav. 2683) - RARE!!!

NGC MS 63. TOP POP and the only one graded!

Former Robert Carolina Collection.

Another beautiful example of the early thaler of Ffiedrich August III of Saxony (1763-1827). This one also TOP POP and the ONLY ONE graded by NGC. Former Robert Carolina Collection specimen offers brilliant uncirculated fields with touch of party patina on reverse, full cartwheel luster and the best appearance you can imagine! This particular coin is interesting because of obverse die presents bust of the Friedrich with long hair (Davenport 2683), not mentioned  in Davenport book. Either way - great collectible and investment coin, Top of the notch for German Taler Collectors!
