Rare Lot of 7 ORIGINAL, UNIQUE CANDID ALBUM PHOTOS, Taken After Terrible 1915 Hurricane in Miami, Florida

Showing Shipwrecks & Disaster Damage

DESCRIPTION: Rare lot of 7 original candid photographs taken following a particularly bad hurricane in Miami, Florida. Incredibly detailed photos of shipwrecks, wrecked houses, broken trees, and other incredible destruction.  Great one of huge ship laying in the water on its side.

These are from a larger lot, some of which are stamped on the back "Jerry Swinnerton, Kodak & Camera Repair Shop, 5 NE 5th St, Miami, Florida". Also several of the others had hand written things like "A.B. Wilson, After the Storm", & the name of a 5 masted ship "The Rose Mahoney". QUITE A VARIETY IN THE LOTS. All unique, different and original snapshot photos from the storm which I estimate c.1915, based on the look of the photos and details.. ALL  PHOTOS ARE FROM AN EARLY ALBUM COLLECTION, AND  ALL ARE NEW TO THE MARKET.....HAVE NEVER BEEN OFFERED FOR SALE BEFORE.

Scans provide an indication of the photos, but are from a different lot. The photos in this lot are similar, of similar subject matter, but different. This photo also shows 8 in the lot, but there are only 7 in this last lot. THIS IS THE LAST LOT REMAINING OF THESE PHOTOS, SO YOUR LAST CHANCE TO ADD THEM TO YOUR COLLECTION!!!

Some great photos and subject matter, and excellent detail and clarity to them all.  All the photos are original, and all from the same album. All are in the  2 1/4" x 4" range.

Condition is mostly excellent.
