Antique Roving Reel Machine manufactured in the USA by Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co. in or around 1904.

It was designed for reeling small quantities of roving, drawing and yarn and also to determine the number of twists in yarn. The circumference of the large drum is 18".

This machine appears to be in good working order.
