Finally a high quality fix for a problem all Weltron owners have, but none of us ever mention!

The incredibly useful rear input and output panels on the Weltron 2005 and 2007 are fixed centrally to the sturdy metal cased transformer on one side, and on the other side by a single screw into the ABS plastic Weltron body. This single screw/lug is subject to all the torque force when plugging and unplugging the speakers and input jacks, eventually the lug around the screw cracks and the panel becomes loose.  In order to reinforce this design flaw we have produced a 3D printed part that re-inforces the original lug and strengthens the case in this critical area, we call it a lugfix.  The part is contoured exactly to the case in order to transfer the force to a larger and different area and it reinforces/repairs the existing lug. This is a much more permanent solution than glueing the lug; which soon fails again.

The lugfix fits over what's left of the crumbing lug and when epoxy'd into position provides an incredibly strong mounting point for each of the rear panels. The lugfix is designed to have a cross shape and a stepped surface where it contacts the existing Weltron shell to maximise the gripping power

Even if you are lucky and one of your lugs is intact it's only a matter of time before it fails, our lugfix will fit over a sound lug and strengthen it in all directions so it should never fail

What's in the kit:
1. a left-hand and a right-hand lugfix
2. two screws
3. a 3 page pictorial 'how to' guide

Please note: unfortunately there is no cheap postage option for this kit despite its tiny size and weight, but please feel free to add it to any other purchase from our range and the lugfix kit will travel postage free!
