The dress has a deep royal blue / purple satin ribbon waist sash but it is not sewn onto the gown so you can remove it if that color doesn't happen to match your wedding colors.
Tagged a US Size 6 and seems to run true to size, unlike many wedding gowns or formalwear. I am a US size 6 and so that I could offer you the best fit info possible, I tried the dress on. It fits me perfectly. It's even roomy enough through the hips to allow me to easily sit down, move, and dance.
It is shown on a mannequin set to an approximate height of 5' 7". Approximate garment measurements are: 35" bust, 28" waist, 38" hips. Length from top of bodice to front hemline: 56". Length from reverse bodice to back hemline: 58".
