Under consideration is an antique, Hand-Carved Wooden Springerle Butter Cookie Press/Mold/Stamp. Traditionally used to create Springerle and Speculaas Cookies during the Christmas/Easter period in Northern Europe. Item was produced in Germany during the 1920-1940 time period.
Resulting from its warm ambiance and hand carved features this Press is commonly displayed as a unique feature in the kitchen area of modern homes.

Details: 
The 24” long x 5 1/2 inch wide X 3/4 inch thick wooden board was hand-carved in the form of 12 difference 3 1/4” x 2 1/2inch (approx.)
figures. Completed board was used to create the forms of 12 different Springerle or Speculaas cookies (photos# 4 thru 9).
