Heavy duty, and the weight is just massive-whitehaus did not skimp on quality. This is not the cheap chrome painted over plastic faucet like Moen, American Standard, Delta, Kohler, or else. Its kinda like Grohe but still tougher.

The faucet is made out of a solid single piece of Stainless steel. Including the handle. No disappointment.
