Foot size explanation

All prosthetic feet are sized by length of the carbon foot combined with the length of the rubber shell. For example a size 28 carbon prosthetic foot will not measure solely 28cm in length without the shell. It will measure 28cm when it is used with correct shell. In other words the rubber shell will always be longer than the actually carbon foot. The foot size = carbon foot length + correct rubber footshell length (combined length).
