This is an antique wooden knitting sheath tool.

Georgian period.

It has some nice little inlaid pieces.
No maker's marks etc.

Please see close-up photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself.
Normal signs of age and use wear including some surface scuffs and minor impact marks etc.
Looks like someone has chewed on the pointy end a little bit.
There is a chip in the wood on the top edge and there is a crack down the wood on one end.

It measures approx. 7 and 1/4 inches long.

My stock ref : LVT-April23 in Georgian items cabinet.

Most of my items are sent using the Global Shipping Program due to Royal Mail being really quite useless at actually delivering parcels worldwide for the last 4 months, which gave me and my customers a truly diabolical service of which I am still chasing up delayed post. I also use Parcelforce Global Priority service for heavier items and multiple combined invoices. So ask about that as well if you want an alternative.

Global Shipping Program does not allow coins to be sent which is a little bizarre, is that because they do NOT trust their own delivery people to keep charge of the packages whilst on route ? So coins will be sent using Royal Mail.

To see ALL my other 6000+ items for sale: please click on the VISIT SHOP or click "see other items", strangely both only have a limited view of what I have to offer on each platform so to see everything click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view.

Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see A/F = a/f in the title or description it means "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
