Description: A very nice first printing of the first edition. Original green cloth with gilt vignette and titles to front and spine. 251 pages. Beautifully illustrated throughout by Arthur Rackham with 12 full page coloured plates and 43 black and white line drawings. 

In attractive condition with some wear and bumping to extremities with some marking to the rear board (see pictures). Some browning to the pictorial end papers, page edges and some leaves. Browning to the remaining loose tissue guards (see pictures). All of the plates are in great condition. Internally clean and bright. Small neat pencil ownership signature to the half title. 

A really nice Arthur Rackham first edition.
