This is an Original Ming Period (1368-1644) Porcelain Blue / White Ceramic Shard Pill Box set in 925 Sterling Silver.  All of the Ming Sterling Silver pieces in my collection were individually handpicked by my father who was a Malaysian resident and myself from antique shops in Ayutthaya, Thailand in the early 1970's. This particularly beautiful silver box is made from a piece of well over three hundred year old Chinese export porcelain found in the Chao Phraya river or most likely the Gulf of Thailand.  This shard jewelry was produced well before the recent proliferation of mass produced / imitation porcelain that started to appear during the last 25 years.

Pill Box Dimensions: 1 1/8 inch in height by 1 1/4 inch in width.  Pill Box Weight: 1.5 Ounces
