Going through my original
collection, and with the season coming down the home stretch, I have decided to part with some of my Mickey Mantle vintage baseball cards. I have sold quite a few throughout the spring and summer already.
The card up for auction is a classic one for everyone's collection and almost 70 years old, the first of three MVP year cards, the 1956 Topps #135 card featuring the legendary New York Yankee All-Time Great, Mickey Mantle!
It is the "gray back version" of the card.
THIS CARD IS A STUNNER! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, a miscut is all that prevented it from being graded even higher! I have been the original owner for over 30 years.
Card has been professionally graded by SGC as a "5.5" (EXCELLENT +), and also features SGC's old 100 Point Scale, which allowed for wiggle-room and cross-grading opportunities with other Grading Companies (considered a 70 on that scale!).
Item will ship via USPS Priority Mail to the US with Insurance, and will come in a 2mil thick BCW Graded Card Sleeve.
