Stunning and elegant design of a FLOATING WHITE ROSE and buds with dark leaves floating on a pale dusty rose pink background 

The rose appears to have a pale yellow handpainted detail applied to provide depth 

One of the most beautiful cups and saucers I have ever seen 

Both cup and saucer are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, other damage or restoration 

Both pieces pass the ping test of bone china perfectly 

Cup measures 2 1/8" tall at sides and 2 3/8" to top of handle and is 4 7/8" across including handle; the saucer is 5 1/2" across 

Marked as shown in photo with pattern A 1542 H handpainted in burned orange on bottom of saucer 

This particular double warrant mark was used from 1938-1952 

Please ignore all white spots on photos caused by camera flash
