Toronto Maple Leafs’ star goaltender Johnny Bower was one of the NHL’s premier backstops during the late 1950’s and 1960’s.  Because the Original Six had room for just six goalies, Bower mostly toiled in the minors from 1945 to 1959.  After being traded by the Rangers to Toronto, Bower blossomed, leading the Leafs to four Stanley Cup titles and claiming the Vezina Trophy in 1962 and 1965.  He played until the ripe old age of 45, and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1976.  This mask was cast from Bower’s one-and-only NHL mask, worn during the 1968-69 season.  (Yes, Bower played more than 530 NHL games without a mask.)  It is a full-sized, fiberglass replica, with the light brown/tan hue of ‘50’s and ‘60’s NHL masks.  It is signed in bold, blue sharpie on the forehead, and comes with a solid, dark wood display stand.  This is a treasured hockey artifact from one of the game’s historic greats, one that you are proud to display.  Comes with TDF Collectibles Certificate of Authenticity.
