HISTORY
The Triumph TR7 was produced from 1975 to 1981 and was a radically designed successor to the open top TR6. This is the the convertible although the main bulk of the production was as a coupe. It was manufactured by BLMC which had swept up most of the British Marques and used a 4 cylinder 2 litre engine giving a 105bhp. Unfortunately it suffered quality problems along with other models from the BLMC stable engendered by the ongoing disputes between the Unions and the Management.
