For sale is a continuous length of approx. 2.5 yards of Brunschwig & Fils iconic "La Portugaise" fabric. It is the same print used by designers around the world, and was used most famously in Brooke Astor's iconic New York red lacquer library. It is a rare item that has been discontinued. It is a linen-cotton blend.

This fabric has been hemmed top, bottom and sides for use as a sample. Hemmed, the width is approx. 45.75" and the length approx 97". The top and bottom hems are each 2.875", so if the hems are not removed, the usable continuous length is 95", likewise if the hems are not removed the width is a little narrower. It would be great for a roman shade, pillows or the upholstery of something small like a bench.

The fabric will be shipped folded.

Brunschwig & Fils La Portugaise fabric retailed for approx. $372 per yard, so with approximately 2.5 yards of fabric available, the retail price for this is almost $1000.
