This speaker has solder pads to make it easier for your installs. Keep in mind these are 8ohm, 1W max speakers. If you are installing these on model trains, please look at your decoders amplifier output specs. These can be wired in series (16ohm, 2W max) or in parallel (4ohm, 2W max).

These speakers are higher quality than most selling on ebay as they are IP67 compliant, better frequency response and harmonic distortion.  IP67 means the speaker can be dropped into a body of water up to a 1.0m deep for half an hour. Also resistant to dust.

Excellent mid-high frequency response upto 15kHz even though spec'ed out to 10kHz. Most model train sounds are in the mid-range and most speakers past 10kHz have highly variable frequency response.
Harmonic distortion near 0 after 2kHz.
