Laddro is made in Valencia, Spain. It is highly collectible. This piece was produced in 1985 for the Collectors Society. It is signed by the three Lladro brothers. 

It depicts Don Quixote who was a Spanish gentleman who took up his lance and sword to defend the helpless and destroy the wicked after reading numerous books involving chivalry. 

The piece has a shell design art deco back.
