1892-P Columbian Half Dollar coin graded by NGC at MS65 PL in old fatty holder.

Comments
The 1892 Columbian is a classic and the first in the 1892-1954 Commemorative Series. Only produced in 1892 and 1893 at just the Philadelphia Mint, this is the first year of the two year Columbian run.  This particular piece very desirable considering the Proof Like designation that comes with the gem grade level.  The coin carries beautiful original toning with shades of russet, mahogany, honey-gold, and bronze.  The overall appeal is very PQ with clean surfaces, highly reflective fields, sharply struck devices, and lovely luster all making for a stunning cameo appeal.  For somebody looking to add a Columbian to their portfolio, this one will come with bragging rights considering the more rare Proof Like designation. This item is also a good candidate for additional certification and/or re-grading.

Feel free to request other photos and we'd be happy to provide.  We shot a couple sets with different lighting characteristics but no filtering or doctoring - all natural photos!  As eBay sellers, we want to be sure there is no mystery with coin you are buying!!!

About the Columbian Half Dollar Quadricentennial Commemorative Coin
The Columbian half dollar is a coin issued by the Bureau of the Mint in 1892 and 1893. The first traditional United States commemorative coin, it was issued both to raise funds for the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition and to mark the quadricentennial of the first voyage to the Americas of Christopher Columbus, whose portrait it bears. The Columbian half dollar was the first American coin to depict a historical person.
