A PAIR of replacement waste washers only to fit an H4 suction waste supplied by Pegasus Whirlpool Baths. If you have a whirlpool bath and there is no suction on the side of the bath, instead, when the whirlpool is running, the water is sucked down the waste which is raised about 1cm off the base of the bath, made of brass and has two tear shaped cut outs in the surface, then you probably have a suction waste.  if the waste is cavitating and sucking air and you haven't adjusted it, then the rubber washer will wear out very quickly and you will need to replace it. pit the other washer safely away and hopefully you will never need it.

If your Pegasus Whirlpool bath is cavitating, then the waste is probably not adjusted properly and it will need a new rubber washer and checking to see that the nuts are done tightly with a spanner. Without the proper adjustment the rubber will fail in a short time.

Plug adjustment

Pegasus whirlpool baths are supplied with special draining wastes to ensure that all water drains from the pump and pipework.  These wastes are available in a standard pop--up-waste and also a bath fill version. Other manufacturers wastes are not compatible with our whirlpool baths. The Pegasus waste will be set during the testing process. Occasionally, and especially if stress is put on the waste during the installation process, the plug will require further minor adjustment. This will be because the pump is cavitating when in operation due to the plug being raised off of its seal. The length of the plug can be adjusted by adjusting the threaded rods on the stem - ensure that there is a 2mm gap between the base of the filter and the bath when the waste is in the fully closed position - don’t forget to retighten the locking nuts.
