It was a cutting-edge product equipped with functions such as fax transmission, expansion terminals, card slots, optical communication, printer connection, etc., on hardware that looked like a combination of a multifunctional electronic dictionary and a monochrome pen tablet. . It won the Good Design Award and was expensive at a list price of 65,000 yen.
Recently, I came out from the back of the desk, so I checked the operation. Unfortunately, the liquid crystal has deteriorated over time, so it is junk. (Refer to the photo. You can see it somehow depending on how the light hits it.)
There is no scratch on the liquid crystal surface because the transparent sheet was sandwiched between them. There are no noticeable scratches on the housing.
