EASTON PRESS Spies In The Himalayas M.S. Kohli & Kenneth Conboy~Leather-bound, gold-gilded trim, Collector’s Edition. This book is written by one of the best mountaineers that ever lived. During the Cold War the US and India were worried about China’s nuclear testing in the 1960s but it was hard to monitor it because satellites were really a thing yet and the Himalayas were difficult terrain for the normal spies so they got Kohli and his crew to set up Nuclear monitoring equipment in the Himalayas. This was a Top Secret mission between the US & Indian intelligence agencies.

This book has been in a private library for 17 years. It looks like something heavy was put on top of the book which caused and indent not only on the book leather edges but also on the pages(picture 7). It also has a steak/mark along the pages (pic 8), and it looks like a few bent edges at the bottom(pic 9). This book would still look great on you book shelf!
