I bought this for a DIY project with a Raspberry for 3D distance calculations, but in the end, went for a OEM double camera module instead of a consumer product, which means I didn't use this although I opened the box. In fact, I tested again both cameras work before listing this add. The original software is probably unsupported on newer windows but if you are into Computer Vision or similar, you can still read from the cameras as they are 2 standard USB cameras
