Fab MCM  pulegoso glass vase with superb upper-body sommerso we were told by a real expert is probably by Cenedese
(Murano) from the 80s or earlier. ..he thought could well be by one of their artists then Luigi Mellara. They had one signed by him that looked like a bigger version of this one. That is an acceptable attribution (for us).

May be 'Cristallo' (special Venetian clear glass) which produces silvery bubbles in some of the Venetian masters' magical recipes. One can feel them on the surface as slight roughness. Looks like layers of tiny bubbles almost through to the inside of the vase.
Yellow to clear at the shoulders. My photos lose the colorless middle section.

There is no damage. No issues like stains either. Between 7 3/8" and 7 1/2"h and 4 1/2"w

The bottom has an orange ring around a scoop cut pontil mark. May be a mark pressed into the bottom. not sure.
The bottom up 1/7th of the way up is yellow, then clear for 1/4th of the body, then yellow again then orange then deep orange then red at the (one or two flower stems) 3/4"w mouth. It is in popular retro style, slightly oval, about dime sized.

Sorry about the glare; trying to capture the silver glow although I don't see any flakes or sparkles of a metallic application.
Truly an amazing example of the pulegoso technique, and in beautiful colors, too.
