Very scarce mid-1960's lot of (7) unframed golf history prints. Artist is Jacobson. Prints depict fun golf historical facts and are done in a eye appealing cartoon style. The artist also did a sports series in 1967 for Wausau Paper Co. There is no printer ID on them. The largest group of these that I could find on record were 4 that sold in 2013 for $100. I found only 2 other singles that have sold since then. These would be a great addition to a golf course clubhouse or your personal collection. The 7 prints are 12" x 16" and include "Fore", "The First Golf Club Manufacturer", "The Feathery", "The Vardon Grip", "Driver", "The Gutta-Percha Ball" and "The First Historic Mention of Golf". The prints are in excellent overall condition with sharp corners and edges, no tears or creases, . There is one with a small light stain along bottom border (photo) and 3 or 4 have some toning on back only. Fronts are bright and clean. These are the coolest golf history prints I have seen and really need to find the proper home. I will ship these loose roll in a box. Thanks!
