Offered here is a Vintage 1950s or 1960s BRIDLINGTON SIGN Advertising A.H. HOGGARTH Expert Furniture Removals .
These were a Transport Company based in Bridlington East Yorkshire .
This is the first of 2 different signs advertising this local firm that I am offering ( both signs are shown in the fourth photo , this listing is for the smaller one ).
It is a great example of Handpainted Mid Century Signwriting.
This comes on a wooden panel with a beaded edge and it measures 25.75 inches x 12.5 inches .
It is in nice condition with a great patina and the wear you would expect from something that is around 70 years old .
The sign could be a little earlier than I have stated it is difficult to tell . one of the signs has a 4 digit telephone number and these were introduced in 1920 .
This is a great piece of Bridlington memorabilia and would be perfect for anyone interested in the area and transport collectables .
