Наряду со снятием мерок, изготовлением выкроек, собственно пошивочными операциями, видами строчек,

рассматриваются отделочные работы (кружева, плиссе, фестоны, воланы, рюши, бахрома и т.п.), 

а также необходимые для шитья детали, даются указания по глажению и работе с мехом и кожей. 

В книге читатель найдет ответ на любой вопрос, возникающий при работе, и почерпнет знания, необходимые для выполнения более трудных задач.
