Here we have a left handed, cabronita tele style guitar body in vintage 6 piece mohogany reclaimed from a front door with lightly figured native grown quarter sawn sycamore cap...the hog has two tiny filled screw holes(see pics)

the control cavity has been left blank so you can choose your own layout but we can drill it to your spec if you drop us a message and lob us a few bob extra

bare wood, will require an oil or spray finish

40mm thick

Neck pocket 55.5mm wide,17mm deep, square heel

takes regular caseless humbuckers without mounting rings, if you want to use mounting rings give us a message and we'll drill out the voids required for the screws

we have also left it without a bridge earth wire hole so you have a wider choice of possible bridges(though we would recommend fender style hardtail of some kind)

tele style control cavity

22mm jack hole

weight: moderately heavy

please do study pictures carefully to ascertain the tech spec

As it is bare wood with no finish it will need to be kept at a stable temperature and humidity or ideally finished fairly quickly lest it be adversely affected by moisture

Whilst much of the work has already been done it will still require considerable skill, knowledge, time and tools and equipment to turn this body into a playable instrument

Any questions just ask

Thanks for looking

A word on wood...here at Stryre we believe that no instrument is worth plundering the earths natural resources for and therefore we only ever use timber that is reclaimed or locally, sustainably produced(mostly windfalls and 'garden trees')
as well as procuring historic and toneful reclaimed materials we also aim to highlight and popularise the many admirable qualitys of our own home grown tonewoods....
thusly do we search the darkest corners of ebay and gumtree, we scour the woods and the hedgerows, the reclaimation yards, the tree surgeons and the the old chap who's retiring's wood collection, peeping into skips, crawling under barns...the endless quest for wood...
