Hardcover in dust jacket. 1931 C-2 as per Farrah's Guide. Blue cloth board with title in orange on front board and title in blue on spine. Boards show soil and edge wear. Corners and spine ends frayed. Spine area is sun faded to light gray. Light fore edge soil.
Plain endpapers have previous owner's name and address on inside paste down. Some soil and tanning. Interior hinges cracked. Faint water mark to upper and outer margin edges of frontis and title page, as well as to a few text pages. Text itself is unaffected. Nancy Drew front interior book list has 6 titles, ending with The Secret of Red Gate Farm.
Color illustrated dust jacket shows edge wear chipping and creased short tears, rubbing and soil. Title on upper spine has the word THE and the T in Secret chipped away. Pencil mark to lower spine. Looks good in new protective mylar.
Front flyleaf lists Nancy Drew 1 -6. Rear flyleaf lists Blythe Girls 1-11. Rear of dust jacket lists Amy Bell Marlowe Books for Girls 1-10.
