You are buying Shakespeare’s Comedy of the Tempest with beautiful tipped-in illustrations by Edmund Dulac. Hodder & Stoughton, New York and London published the book, C. 1908. This is the first American trade edition. The interior is in very good condition. The pages are tight and clean. Webbing is beginning to show between the half title page and the facing page. All tipped-in illustrations have their tissue guards. There are no tears or marks. There are no names or bookplates of previous owners. The cover is in good condition. There is fading of the spine, and the front board is bowed. A previous owner’s plastic dust jacket is in good condition. It shows wear, chipping and tears. The book is 7 1/2” x 10” tall and 140 pages. There are 40 beautiful bright tipped-in illustrations with their tissue guards by Edmund Dulac.
