The USBXchange allows SCSI devices to plug into the USB (Universal Serial Bus)
of your PC compatible computer.
Key Product Features:
- Compliant with Universal Serial Bus Specification Revision 1.1
and 2.0 (EHCI v0.95).
- High and Full speed support; self-powered with termination power
supplied by the SCSI device.
- Narrow (8 bit) SCSI bus, synchronous and asynchronous transfer
modes, disconnect disabled.
- Plug and Play.
- Connect up to four SCSI devices (multiple LUNs supported) to the
USBXchange under Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
- Connect up to seven SCSI devices (multiple LUNs supported) to
the USBXchange under Windows 98SE and Windows Me.
- SCSI devices supported include Removable drives, Hard disk
drives, Magneto-optical (MO) drives, CD-ROM drives, CD-R/RW
drives, DVD-RAM drives, tape drives and most Scanners.
- The USBXchange adapter receives its electrical power from the
termination power of the attached SCSI devices. If this power is
not available, the adapter automatically switches to receive
power from the USB bus.
- The USBXchange can use a DC power jack with 4.5V-7.5V output
voltage and minimum 500 mA output current.
