Our samples come direct from France with our Creed retail bottles and are stored in IDEAL perfume conditions ever since! All the above pictures are ours! 

The best perfume storage is completely dark, cool and low humidity. We have had this exact perfume storage; going back to 2015!  

It is not good for them to be in a retail store environment with fluorescent light! Even sealed in their original boxes, even if the boxes are black most stores DO NOT store their perfume properly. At all. They just hope to sell it within a year.    

BATCHES 

We do not offer batch advice- we don't know the differences in batches except some generalities. It's not something we would devote many hours each week to, one fragrance. The best resources for batch info are first Aventus Lounge on FB, second basenotes their Aventus batch threat. Some general info.  Aventus ages in value like wine, older batches are almost always valued higher than new, the quality seems to go down year to year but you can see that complaint with any perfume made for a decade. Batch numbers start with the year, like 19, 20, 21 etc. Then a letter, in chronological order A before B before C etc. So A,B,C batches are toward the beginning of the year, X,Y,Z the end. Then ending in two numbers, typically 01, 11, 21, but sometimes others.  

In general, Aventus is shipped to market too fast- so it isn't as strong as it could be, or should be when you first get it. So older bottles are almost always more expensive. If you don't want to do a bunch of research, with it being mostly subjective anyway we always suggest buying the newest, cheapest batch. This way you won't overspend, and it will also make it easier to buy a backup bottle if you decide you love it! We started way back in 2014 selling Creed and splits, Aventus is still what the owner of Finescents wears daily! Incorporated in 2015 and trademarked in 2016, we continue to expand to new offerings but always keeping our grounded midwestern ethics. We don't lie or push or hype market in any capacity!  

Everything we sell is kept in light, temp, and humidity-controlled environment. We ALWAYS ship in new boxes, often in a padded mailer but there is a new box inside it. Double the protection!  After the sale, the packaging is the first thing the customer sees, and we take great pride in packing and timely shipping. We often beat the Ebay estimated delivery time, but we cannot promise it.

We strive to do the extra when something does go wrong.
