This is an early production Niloak Pottery Deer Planter or Vase glazed in turquoise with white and light brown highlights.  The piece is 8.5" tall and about 7.5" long.  The mouth of the vase or planter is 2.75" by 2.25".  It is in very good condition with light age crazing and one small chip at the rear base of the planter as shown in the photographs.  It displays nicely and would be a nice addition to your collection.
