This necklace is an inherited piece I can't swear this came from my great grandmother's world tour in the 20s as I was told. Looks like at least a century of aging ([Naples] yellower with time) , unless ox bone ages differently from ivory. If it is ivory it is antique ivory.

I was told it was bone from Ox or Yak. 

It consists of an eccentric asymmetric array of strands of tiny beads plus small melon cut beads, then carved oblong beads. There are tiny b-b sized golden beads in between each bone bead.

All these different beads connect to two large (1" X 1") carved lotuses. Has a hook on one end and a ring on the other end for an effective connection.  Lotuses look as if they were cut from the ends of leg bones (hollow inside).
