Originally released in 1987, the song was performed and co-written by Dr. a.L. Bradford, a noted civil rights leader, Dr. Bradford had served as the grand marshal of the 17th annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Kingdom Day Parade, held in Hollywood and aired on television.
