These rigs are designed for distance casting and are used on clear ground . These rigs can be used to catch cod , bass , whiting , rays , smoothounds , dogfish , bull huss , plaice , flounder and any other species. Main rig body is 80lb Asso Ultraflex . Hooklength will be between 30lb & 80lb Asso Oblivion, Ultraflex or Amnesia depending on hook sizes chosen. Hooklength is just over 3 1/2 foot long flowing trace. 1/0 or size#1 barrel swivel connects to extra large bait clip upside down for hooklength to hang over.  32mm extra strong bait clip hangs on main rig body for weight to clip on and hook to clip onto. Main hooks fitted are Aberdeen hooks (choice of 6/0 down to size#4) with a choice of pennel hooks which can be added or left as a single hook only . When clipped up and over the rig length is just under 2  1/2 foot long and streamlined for distance casting , on contact with the water the the rig unclips leaving a long flowing trace.
