Handmade sterling silver replica of an ancient Roman charm, usually known as Fascinus or Fascinum.
Pendants of this kind were ubiquitous in Roman culture, as well as other phallic-shaped objects of jewelry, relief carvings, lamps, and wind chimes (tintinnabula). Both fig and phallus were apothropaic symbols, concidered to protect from evil eye, to bring good luck and happiness (felicitas) and to turn away harm or evil influences.

The "fig and phallus", as well as "fist and phallus" amulets ware prevalent amongst Roman soldiers.
