Janet Clare Jolly Whales Quilt Making Pattern JC135

The seaside is my very favourite place to be and this fun quilt features three large whales frolicking in the ocean swell!

My ocean is made from blues and greys and the waves created with free-hand machine quilting. I’ve included a detailed cutting list and piecing diagram in my pattern so you can recreate my design, but why not create your own unique stripy wavy combination! The whales are all brought to life by my favourite fusible raw edge appliqué and free machine drawing techniques, though my designs are suitable for most appliqué methods.

Embellished with embroidery and buttons to give them a real character, you can make your whales really happy by stitching them a broad smile. The pattern features clear, detailed instructions, full size appliqué templates, a detailed layout guide and lovely colour photographs, making it suitable for novice and experienced stitchers alike.
