CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY AND NARRATIVE STORY

Our art collection known as the Saga of the Cajuns, The  Landry Collection shares the story of the Cajuns dating back to 1604 when they settled in Nova Scotia

and their final expulsion from their beloved land by the British in 1755 and finally shares the rest of the story as they migrated to Louisiana, The Land of The Oaks

THE SAGA OF THE CAJUNS, THE LANDRY COLLECTION

Saga of the Cajuns, The Landry Collection is a  series of 25 paintings by George Rodrigue

depicting the culture and lifestyles of our ancestors

and their remarkable  ability to preserve their identity as Cajuns.

My husband and I are the former owners of Landry's Seafood in Henderson and commissioned George Rodrigue to

paint this wonderful series of art which so beautifully tells our story as Acadians/Cajuns.

We are proud of our heritage and wish to share its story with you.
