The above listing is for a cancelled check from the 1978 Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Team payroll account.  I acquired a large grouping of these checks from Hunt Auctions. They are all signed by team treasurer or GM  and are made out to various persons and businesses for the 1978 season.  Most are endorsed by the person unless pictured or noted otherwise. There all have the Pirates logo on the front and would look great displayed.  This is an unusual piece of Pirates history!
