One for the Ship collector

This is approx 9½ x 7¾" original glossy black & white photograph of the Matra, received in 1952. 

Full details of the ship on the back of the photograph. There is a signature on the back that looks like, G. G. Carter, which could be George Goldsmith Carter who was an author of shipping books.

Built in 1948 by WM Hamilton & Co, sold to Panama in 1971 and renamed Aegis Save I.
