An extremely valuable tool for adding a sub to your GM vehicle’s Bose Stereo. This will save you lots of time and hassle. No need to risk cutting or tapping into your car's sensitive wiring or buying expensive aftermarket modules.  Simply plug our harness in-line with the main plug on your vehicle's Bose Amp (diagonal fins). Please note that since the Bose system is digital, there is no 12v switched power that can be used to turn on your new amp. Also the signals from the harness are high level. Therefore you will need to use a processor or LOC with high-level signal sensing inputs to handle the signals and turn your amp on. Please note that even though all the Bose amps are very similar, the output channels differ slightly depending on the vehicle.  The labels on the harness are set up specifically for Camaro.  For any other vehicle, please ignore the labels and consult the legend below.  A copy is included with the kit for your convenience.

Also included in the kit is our ANC Defeat Harness and you will need it if your vehicle has ANC

    What is ANC?
Active Noise Cancellation aka ANC is present on most Bose Stereos and uses microphones hidden in the door panels or headliner of your vehicle to pick up in-cabin noise. The mics send this information to the amp, which in-turn sends offsetting signals out to all the speakers in the vehicle to help quiet the cabin. This is a great feature until an aftermarket subwoofer is installed in the vehicle and the stereo goes crazy with a doom-loop of feedback noise. The ANC harness will defeat this feature and eliminate the feedback so your new sub will sound as it should.

    Wiring:
The T-harness includes power and ground for your amp as well as 3 channel outputs.  Each vehicle only uses 2 channels but it is important for the harness to have all 3 since other model vehicles may use the channel that your vehicle does not. One set will simply not be used per application.

    Connection:
For wiring a sub, you will want to locate the Right Front and Left Front door speaker output leads from the T-harness. Again, if you have any other vehicle than Camaro, please refer to the legend for what those colors are and not the labels on the harness.  The front door leads on each vehicle are the most powerful signals with the most bass.  For vehicles with factory sub, we recommend not using the sub leads and use the door leads as previously indicated

    Bose Amp Location:
The harness plugs into your amp, Not behind your radio.  Some known Bose amp locations are below:

Camaro - Spare tire area, left side.
Silverado/Sierra - Back wall, right of center
    Colorado/Canyon - Behind glovebox
C7 Corvette - Storage bin rear of trunk
