The item for sale is an original 1946 Boston Braves autographed Sketch Book. Most of the players and coaches have autographed this Sketch Book with most of the autographs including an inscription "To Tommy." Tommy Ferguson was the bat boy and was obviously loved by the members of this team. Autographs include Warren Spahn, Billy Herman, the extremely tough Mort Cooper, and many other stars of this team. A total of 30 autographs adorn this book. Included in addition to Spahn, Herman, and Cooper are: John Cooney(Coach), Jake Flowers, George Young(Doctor), Bob Keely(Coach), Dr. Charles Lacks(Trainer), Don Padgett, Connie Ryan, Dick Culler, Tommy Holmes, Bama Rowell, Carden Gillenwater, Mike McCormick, Ray Sanders, Nanny Fernandez, Danny Litwhiler, Whitey Wietelmann, Ed Wright, Johnny Sain, Bill Lee, Ernie White, Elmer Singleton, Bill Posedel, Steve Roser, Si Johnson, Red Barrett, and Johnny Niggeling.
The book itself has some wear and the front cover is partially separated from the body about half way up the cover page. Still, for a 76 year old relic this item is in nice collectible condition.
