Will work on Leica R8, R9 and RD-M digital module with "stop-down" metering. Could be used on Leica M9, M240 and Monochrome with Leica 22228 or Novoflex adapters. Could be used on Canon DIGITAL SLR cameras with proper adapter. Can also be used on digital MIRRORLESS camera's like: Olympus OM-D, Panasonic GX-8, Panasonic GH-5, Fuji X-Pro3, XE-4and Fuji XT-3, Sony a 6300 and full frame Sony A-7rIII, Sony A7sII and Sony a9 and others with proper adapter. Filter size is series VI. Close focusing from 20 inches or.5 m. Aperture range from f/2 to f/16. Very sharp f/2.0 normal lens. Lens is in Ex or 8 of 10 cosmetic condition. Overall good condition with some minor paint wear from normal use. NO  dings or dents. Lens has been CLA'D in 2022. Very clean glass, Couple of very small dust spots inside that can be seen with a flashlight ONLY. Optics have been cleaned. Good lens focusing. Focus helicoid does make a little noise when focusing, but the lens does focus fine. This rare early Summicron-R lens is being sold AS-IS due to the noise when turning the focus. Smooth working aperture blades. Lens includes Leica hood #12564, Leica series VI filter retaining ring, and a rear cap. No front cap.
