A collection of original sounds of the Fairlight CMI II. You get two full libraries!
One is sampled directly from the Fairlight itself and the other is extracted from the original floppy disk images.
So you get the best of both worlds!
The filtered anti-aliased sound with Fairlight charme PLUS the raw samples which are clearer and brighter.
However, latter sometimes contain noise that otherwise the Fairlight would mostly filter out (but not always) -
so I carefully denoised each sample to give you excellent quality and the best sound possible!
To top it off, the two libraries are actually slightly different - containing some sounds that the other one doesn't.
(The Fairlight II had minor revisions in the libraries over time). You also get lots of bonus samples extracted
from non-library disks. You won't find such a comprehensive CMI II collection anyhwere else on the net!
All files are in WAV format which means you can use it in all major DAWs and music progams such as Ableton
Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reason, Garageband, Cakewalk Sonar, Reaper etc.

Es handelt sich hier um eine Sammlung der Originalklänge des Fairlight CMI II.
Eigentlich sind es zwei Sammlungen in einer! Bei einer sind die Sounds vom Fairlight gesamplet und bei der anderen
von den Original-Floppydisketten extrahiert worden.
Ihr bekommt also das Beste von beidem! Der gefilterte anti-alias Klang mit Fairlight-Flair sowie die Roh-Samples, die klarer und heller sind. Bei letzerem kommt es nur öfter vor, dass sie Rauschen enthalten, welches sonst vom Fairlight rausgefiltet wurde (meistens). Also habe ich jedes dieser Samples sorgfältig entrauscht (denoised), um Euch hervorragende Qualität und bestmöglichen Klang zu liefern!
Und wenn das noch nicht genug ist, so kann ich Euch mitteilen, dass die beiden Sammlungen leicht unterschiedlich sind. Sie enthalten teilweise andere Sounds. (Die Fairlight II-Bibliotheken unterlagen zu seiner Zeit leichten Veränderungen) Ihr bekommt auch jede Menge Extra-Samples, die von inoffiziellen Disketten extrahiert wurden (also nicht der Standard-Bank angehörten). Nirgendwo im Internet gibt es eine solch umfassende CMI II-Sammlung!
Alle Dateien sind in WAV-Format, so dass Ihr sie allen größeren DAWs und Musikprogrammen benutzen könnten. Z.B. Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reason, Garageband, Cakewalk Sonar, Reaper etc.
