Obverse: Bust of Louis XVIII facing right, perimeter legend; 

Reverse: Allegory of France, standing at right, with victory wreaths in her upraised left hand, her right hand on the shoulder of Industry, standing at left and holding a caduceus; implements of industry at lower left and right, pedestal supporting Arms of France at lower right; perimeter legend above, date in exergue below. 

Edge: Inscribed "Accorde Par Le Roi in 1823 Henri Laurant de Amien". 

This medal has light sepia surfaces, and is re-toning from a light cleaning in the past.
